WHY ISN'T THIS ON THE PRODUCT PAGE?
Honest answer: because most of the time, you don't need it. The stock counts you see are the pieces ready to ship today, and that's what we want to promise you up front — no asterisks.
The fresh-plate system is a bonus that kicks in only when you want more than we have on hand. Since pulling from an in-progress plate can add about a day, we'd rather not bake that delay into every order. So we keep it tucked away, and only offer it the moment you actually need it.
It runs on a setup we're honestly pretty proud of: our printers report their status in real time, and the system cross-checks the live queue against our farm managers before it ever promises you a piece. If the plate's really coming, you get it. If not, we'd never claim otherwise.
